Brand messaging and positioning for climate tech, carbon markets, and clean energy

Help your customers understand your value with our comprehensive messaging and positioning process. We'll reveal what makes your customers tick and uncover your most marketable messages.
Startups pivot. It’s a natural part of the journey to product-market-fit. But you need a sharp and resonant messaging strategy along the way. You won’t find momentum without it.

Our brand messaging service is for you if...

  • You developed your messaging in-house, but it’s not rooted in research or strategy
  • Your messaging hasn’t evolved on pace with your product
  • You’re pivoting your GTM strategy (... again)
A brand messaging + positioning brief is foundational to your marketing strategy. Use it to align your team behind a vision, communicate your key messages to your various ICPs, and inform all future content and copywriting initiatives.

Week 1: Discovery

In Week 1, we’ll hit the ground running with a 90-minute strategy workshop including key stakeholders from your team. Together we’ll parse through a comprehensive discovery questionnaire designed to unearth your unique value. We’ll gain a thorough understanding of your goals, product, and the problem you solve for your customers.

You'll walk away with:
  • Therapeutic relief (Yep — this is real customer feedback.)
  • A homework assignment (We need email intros to your best customers — we'll provide templates.)

Week 2: Research

Now that we have a clear picture of how you view your brand, it’s time to learn how your customers do. In Week 2, we’ll kick off our 1:1 deep dive interviews with your favorite customers. We work from a proprietary set of questions, but if there’s something specific you want to know, just ask. This week we’ll also do our competitor and market analysis.

This week you'll get:
  • Key insights from 1:1 customer interviews
  • Discovery notes and transcripts

Week 3: Develop + deliver

In Week 3, we’ll be heads down: brainstorming, uncovering patterns, and connecting dots. We’ll define your positioning, craft your narrative, and identify your core messaging. You’ll receive your brief via Google doc so the document can evolve with your brand (unlike the slide decks collecting dust in your drive).

Deliverables:
  • Google doc brief, tabbed and color-coded:
→ Key insights and direct quotes from 1:1 customer interviews
→ Thorough recap of our competitor and market analysis
   → Succinct positioning statement
   → Detailed ICPs
→ Your narrative manifesto and brand story
→ A workable brand messaging framework
       → Core brand pillars
       → Proof points
       → Marketable messages
→ Optional brand voice guide add-on

Investment starts at: $7,000
